KJHS Band Apparel
(posted 12/18/2010) We are selling KJHS Band sweatshirts for $25.00. Deborah Yee is taking orders and will place the order in January. Bring in your form and check when school begins in January. It will take about 2 weeks to get. The order form is here (pdf). I've also attached a picture of the sweatshirt. This would be a great thing to have if you are going to Disneyland.
Elementary School Tour

The 8th grade symphonic band, and the 7th grade concert band (2nd period class) went "on tour" December 9 and 10th. They visited the elementary schools in the area and played for them. Some of the schools visited were Sonoma Mountain, LaTercera, and Corona Creek. Thank you to the students - you were a hit! And thanks to all the parents who helped with driving, set-up and tear-down.
CMEA Jazz Festival (2009-2010)
The Jazz Band Performed at the CMEA Jazz Festival held at Sonoma State University on Saturday, February 13,2010, earning an excellent score.
Analy Band Festival
On Friday, October 23, 2009, the 8th Grade Symphonic Band traveled up to Analy High School in Sebastopol for their annual band festival. The band played three selections for the judges, and met with a UC Davis professor afterwards for further guidance during the clinic.
